Modern fin slalom and slalom X racing has revealed the need for a sail that delivers constant power and speed across a wide range of winds, angles, water states, and rider input.
The Mach 6 was the 2023 world champion sail for both Women and Men. The Mach 7 has already proven itself as the top performing sail winning the PWA Slalom X World Cup in Fuerteventura.
The Mach 8 evolution expands on the Xtended Range ideology with pure top-end speed in both the high and low ends of the wind range.
A wider head creates the leverage needed to bend the mast into the ideal shape to move in sync with the whole rig. This harmony smoothens the riding experience while accelerating you without input. Size-specific luff curve modulations add to the intuitive power delivery.
Flatter entry profiles create a low drag footprint, cutting the air efficiently, and reducing unexpected movements. You’ll be able to move through lulls and gusts with minimum adjustment needed, improving your average speed on the course. Higher peak speeds are an obvious benefit of this ideology.
The Mach 8 will set your board on a constantly stable trim, allowing you to focus on racing rather than looking out for chop or gusts. But don’t be fooled, when pushed, the Mach 8 will take you as fast as you dare for a gold-level performance. Race to win.
